Louise Chandler, 93 years, 1 month, 3 days old, passed away on June 2, 2017 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, MO from a long illness with her family by her side.
Louise was born April 30, 1924 in Toledo, MO to Earl and Ica (Wilkerson) Turner.
Louise and William "Bill" Thomas Chandler were united in marriage August 24, 1946 at Mtn. Home, AR and to this union three daughters were born.
Louise was a homemaker and farmer. She was a Christian and attended with Bill, the Frye Community Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, gardening, and canning and cooking each grandchild their favorite pie for the holidays. She loved going shopping with her girls and going to the beach!
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill in 2014, one brother, Russell Turner and one sister, Reba Herrell.
Louise is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Chris & Jim Dancy, Beverly & Tom Hodges, Jeannie & Terry Watkins, all of Squires, MO, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Louise will be Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Hodges. Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
