LUCILLE FRIEND DONLEY

Lucille Friend Donley, 83, of Isabella, MO passed away on August 22, 2013 at Gainesville Healthcare Center. Lucille was born December 2, 1929 at Sapulpa, OK to Willie and Opal (McCullough) Friend.

Lucille and Willis Donley were united in marriage November 12, 1946 in Mountain Home, AR. They lived 58 years at Isabella, where they raised beef cattle and milked for 48 years. Willis and Lucille attended Hilltop Victory Chapel in Thornfield and recently Lucille attended Liberty Baptist in Isabella.

They raised 5 children, Larry Donley of Thornfield, Joyce Pellham and husband Garlin o f Wasola, Dan Donley and wife Anita of Thornfield, Rex Donley and wife Patty of Gainesville, Judy Hambelton and husband Bruce of Gainesville; 17 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.

Lucille is survived by all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters Elmajean Hambelton, Ada Beard and Wanda Beard all of Gainesville, MO, one brother Billy Friend of Butler, MO and one sister-in-law Francis Friend.

Lucille was preceded in death by parents Willie and Opal Friend; her husband Willis Donley; daughter-in-law Linda Terry Donley; two brothers Buddy and Tesley Friend; and an infant sister Bonnie.

Funeral services for Lucille will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Randy Dalton and Brad Pellham officiating. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Friend Cemetery, or the giver's choice.
