Luetta Midge Berry, 91 years, passed away on July 21, 2009 at Gainesville Health Care Center, Gainesville, MO.

Midge was born May 13, 1918 in Drury, MO to George and Maggie (Hicks) Pool.

Midge retired from Eaton Corp. in West Plains, MO and she was also a Cook at Dora High School. On August 2, 1936 Midge and Arlo Berry were united in marriage in Brush Creek, MO and to this union four children were born. She was a Christian. Midge loved cooking, sewing, gardening, quilting, crocheting, playing pitch and most of all spending time with all of her family and friends.

Midge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arlo in 2003, a son, James Jay Berry, infant baby boy, three brothers, Glen, Buck and Benny Pool, two sisters, Hazel Bushong and Irene Strong.

Midge is survived by two children and their spouses, Arlo Junior & Karee Berry, Wasola, MO, Sandra & Kevin Rackley, Soddy Daisy, TN, daughter-in-law, Virginia Berry, West Plains, MO, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren,10 great great grandchildren, three sisters, Veda Bushong, Ava, MO, Juanita Kazenske, Silvis, IL and Jo Stephens, Ava, MO and one brother, Gene Pool, Ava, MO, many nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Midge will be Friday, July 24, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Blanche Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor David Dodson. Memorials may be made to Blanche Cemetery.
