LYNN ARTHUR NASH

Lynn Arthur Nash, 73, of Theodosia, MO passed away on November 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1940 in Granite City, IL, the son of Herbert and Irene (Stengal) Nash.

Lynn served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and the Korean Conflict in the years of 1957 to 1961. He was on the Bon Homme Richard Navy Ship. His occupation was an electrician. He was retired from Granite City Steel Mill in Granite City, IL after 35 years, where he worked as an electrician and also as a food committee leader in the Mill. He moved to Theodosia, MO in 1999.

Lynn was a member of Sampson Masonic Lodge # 298 in Theodosia. He was also a member of the V.F.W. in Isabella, MO. He enjoyed life with his loved ones. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood carving. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and his vacations. His greatest day was on April 3, 2013, when he married the love of his life, Angela Denise Nash.

Lynn is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Nash; stepchildren Shawn Verheecke, Joseph Luffman, Brittany Luffman; two daughters Jani Hayes and Venus Nash; one son Brett Nash; granddaughter Miranda Nash; grandson Zachary Misturak; one great granddaughter Annaliese Nash; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great granddaughter by his daughter Jani Hayes; one sister Yonnie Smith and niece Rachel Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Full Military Honors. Bro. James Maddox will be officiating the service. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
