Mabel Jean Fifer, 85 years, 3 months, and 2 days old, passed to heaven on May 27, 2013 at her home in Ava.
Mabel was born February 25, 1928 in Hazard, KY to Stellie and Fannie (Taylor) Jones.
Mabel and Charles Fifer were united in marriage on February 7, 1947. To this union seven children were born.
Mabel enjoyed shopping, and gardening. She loved animals and especially loved spending time with her family.
Mabel was preceded by her parents, her husband, and one son Chuck.
Mabel is survived by six children, Lawrence Fifer, Timothy Fifer, Dennis Fifer, Deborah Boss, Bryan Fifer, Kim Rolling, and their families, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
