MACK SUTER

Mack Suter, 76, of Springfield, MO, passed to heaven on December 29, 2011 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, MO. He was born on December 14, 1935 in Udall, MO, the son of Foe J. and Elma (Mishler) Suter.

Mack attended Gainesville High School, Gainesville, MO and at the age of 17 entered the military, where he served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was united in marriage to Penny Hicks on October 16, 1970 in Houston, TX. After working in Kansas City and other areas, the couple made their home in Springfield, MO. Mack went to work for French's in Springfield as a fork lift operator and retired after 28 years of service. Mack was a hard worker and enjoyed his job. After retirement he loved watching sporting events and spending time with his wife. She preceded him in death in July of this year.

Mack is survived by his son Jacob Suter and wife Jennifer, five granddaughters Katlyn, Jaiden, Mackenzie, Mikah and Britton Suter all of Fordland, MO; four brothers Bill, Joe, Gary and Mike Suter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Foe J. and Elma Suter; his wife Penny Suter; three brothers Noble, Leo and James; one sister Judy; and one grandson Coby Suter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, MO. Interment will be in the Udall Cemetery, Udall, MO. On line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
