Madge Geneva Anderson, 93 years, 7 months, and 5 days old, passed to heaven on October 16, 2011 at Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, MO.
Madge was born March 11, 1918 in Pauls Valley, OK to Wesley and Mattie (Towery) McGee.
Madge was resident of Ozark, MO for a few years moving from the Ava area near Smallett. She and her husband had lived there for over 23 years. Madge had also lived in Tulare, CA where she had worked as an LPN in a hospital.
On April 6, 1935 Madge and Jud Hugo Anderson were united in marriage in Elmore City, OK and to this union four children were born.
Madge was of the Baptist faith and had attended with Jud to the Walnut Grove General Baptist Church. She enjoyed working outdoors with her flowers, sewing, canning and gardening.
Madge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jud Anderson in 1992, a son, Keith Anderson and five siblings.
Madge is survived by one daughter & husband, Nancy & James Walker, Ozark, MO, two sons John and Bill Anderson, both of Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Madge will be Wed., Oct.19, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Rev. Robert Roberts officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday at Noon til service time at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
