Marcelline Hinrichs Hudson

Ava, Missouri

Marcelline L Hudson, 89 years, 9 months, 3 days old, passed on to Heaven on October 18, 2022 with her family by her side.

Marcelline was born January 15, 1933 in Crossroads, MO  to William Franklin and Maude May (Kay) Doran.

She graduated from Ava High School in 1951 and later moved to Des Moines, IA. There she met and married William "Bill" Fred Hinrichs on October 15, 1955 and they were blessed with three children, Jacklyn, Roger and Danny. They later moved to CA where they lived for 20 years. Bill passed away in 1974.

Later in life on Jan. 22, 1982 Marcelline and James Hudson were united in marriage in Douglas County, MO. They lived on a farm where she loved to garden, can, quilt and embroidery. She and James loved to go to music gatherings and play cards. She worked at Emerson Electric for 11 years and helped James in their hay business. Marcelline adored her family and loved being with them. She was a Christian and attended the Ava General Baptist Church for 20 years.

Marcelline was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill and James, her grandparents, her mother and father, all of her siblings; Maxine Lathrom, Mary Doran, Frank, Raymond, Richard and Russell Doran, sister-in-laws, Ruth Doran and Ellie Doran and brother-in-law, Joe Lathrom and daughter-in-law, Tammy Hinrichs.

She is survived by her children; Jacklyn & Dennis Jennings, Roger & Debbie Hinrichs and Danny Hinrichs,   10 grandchildren; Tammy, Amy, David, Rebecca, John, Billie, Ronnie, Dustin, Kayla, and James, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, daughter-in-law, Joyce Hinrichs, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Marcelline will be Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mills Cemetery with a visitation prior to the service from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.

Officiating will be Chaplain Terry Ramming. She had requested donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
