Marcia D Bogart

Ava, Missouri

Marcia passed away June 8, 2023 at home.  By her side was her beloved husband Frederick Bogart Sr. and sons.  Just shy 4 months of her 71st birthday,  "Sis or Aunt Sis" as she was known by family members, was born October 31, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas to Marian "Bud" Coster and Bernita Tumblin.

Marcia has joined her mother Bernita, and her brothers, Terry Schrahl and Mick Coster in eternal peace!  She will be laid to rest at the Good Hope Cemetery not far from home.

Our mother is survived by her loving husband Frederick, sons, John, Frederick Jr and Nicholas Bogart. Her brothers, Dean Coster, Mike Coster, Todd Schrahl, and Tim Schrahl.  Her Oklahoma brothers Mike, Mick, and Bud Coster and thirteen grandkids, great grandkids.  All of which do solely miss her.

Marcia was not from Missouri, but made the Ava area our home and loved all her new friends that she made.  Most people knew her best were from the local Saturday night bingo hall, Walmart and gas stations.  She enjoyed bingo but liked to sit by herself because most of her table was taking up with her bingo cards.  She liked stopping by the gas stations and buying their scratch off tickets.  She was lucky most of the time.  Marcia sported passion for sports especially our Philadelphia Eagles and NFL games.  She would often call family members to check on time of a game, cheer the winning team on and complain about the ref's calls.

Marcia being set in her ways was known to be straight forward, blunt, and to the point with people.  She loved everyone and would often check up on friends about their well being.  She loved her family so much she would often call to see how everyone was doing.

To the end mom was giving dad a hard time about the lights on in the house by pointing her finger up at the lights letting him know she is still boss and the lights needed turned off.

Mom would want everyone to remember her by how she was; true, honest, straight forward, but loving.

Our family would like to thank all of you who express your thoughts and prayers for our mother and the family.  May God bless and keep you all.

Funeral services for Marcia will be Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava . Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 P.M. to service time. Burial will be in the Goodhope cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to Goodhope cemetery.
