Margaret (Easter) Goodwyn

Margaret Goodwyn, 83 years, passed away on June 21, 2011 in Derby, KS.

Margaret was born February 19, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Fred and Eithel (Dye) Easter.

Margaret was a resident of Wichita, KS for several years.
She was born in Kansas City, MO and was raised in Almartha, MO in Ozark County. She married Walter Goodwyn and to this union three children were born. She worked in the Wichita Public School System as a Cook and had also been a caregiver to her mother for 25 years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Walter,
her parents, Fred & Eithel Easter, a brother and sister.

Margaret is survived by three children, Peggy McKenzie and Ronald Goodwyn both of Derby, KS and Janet Turner, Hutchinson, KS, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.


Graveside services for Margaret will be Saturday, June 25, 2011, 11:00 a.m. in the Ava Cemetery, Ava, MO. There will be viewing Sat. from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel prior to the graveside. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carpenter Place, 1501 N. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67203.
