Margaret Josephine Potts, daughter of William Kulick and Leacaidia
( Konkel) Kulick was born on June 7, 1908 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2007 in Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO at the age of 98 years, 10 months and 1 day.

Margaret lived most of her life in Ava. She was a Restaurant Owner here in Ava for several years. On June 14, 1924 Margaret and Leroy J. Potts were united in marriage in Detroit, Michigan and to this union six children were born. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Ava. Margaret cooked for the people of Ava since 1962. She loved cooking for her family, reading and enjoyed working on the farm with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leroy in 1961, 10 brothers and sisters, three sons, Dick, Bud and Raymond and one daughter, Betty Lou.

Her survivors included one daughter, Dolores Barnum and one son & spouse, John & Pat Potts all of Ava, 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services are Thursday, 10:00 A.M., April 12, 2007 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Pastor Tom Maples officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation is Wed. from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Family requests memorials to the Community Hospice of Mtn. Grove in care of the funeral home.
