Marie Crisp, 98, of Gainesville, MO passed away May 25, 2022 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn Home, AR. She was born September 30, 1923 in Siloam Springs, MO to Bert and Dovie Collins.

Marie grew up in Siloam Springs. She married Hayes Crisp and the couple made their home in Gainesville. She owned and operated a café not far off the town square. Marie loved to travel, work in her garden, or just be at home with her dogs. She always found beauty in the simple things. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by one son Leon Crisp of Gainesville, MO; one daughter LaRane Wright of Marshfield, MO; four grandchildren Robert Crisp and wife Krista of Gainesville, MO, Peggy Williams and husband David of Tecumseh, MO, Kim Hickerson and husband Rodger of Marshfield, MO, Russell Wright Jr of Kansas City, MO; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five children; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Wayne Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
