Marion Dale Julius, 87, of Gainesville, MO passed away February 10, 2026 at Baxter Health hospital in Mtn Home, AR. He was born September 22, 1938 in Brownstown, IL to George Dale and Margaret Elizabeth (Ray) Julius.
He graduated from Waynesville High School in Waynesville, MO in 1958. On January 25, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Adams. They spent a wonderful 63 years together. He worked many years as a cable splicer for the phone company. After his retirement, he and Carolyn moved to Gainesville in the late 1990’s. He loved the Ozarks, especially being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a very skilled woodworker and took pride in his craft. He also served in the past as fire chief for the Caney Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carloyn Julius, of the home in Gainesville; son Michael Julius of West Plains, MO; daughter Pamela Williams of Kincaid, IL; four grandchildren: Charles Julius, Jacob Julius, Natalie Williams, Amber Bone; and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Julius; one brother; and one sister.
No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
