Marion “Faye” Conn

Ava, Missouri

Faye Conn, 82 years and 7 days old, passed away peacefully to heaven on May 17, 2026, at her home in Ava, Missouri.

Faye was born May 10, 1944, in Terry, Montana to Leo and Ruth (Albrecht) Fluss. Faye was united in marriage to William T. (Bill) Conn in 1982, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Over the next few years, they lived in Edmonton and then Billings, Montana before moving to and settling in Ava, Missouri. Faye and Bill lived in Ava for over three decades. After Bill’s passing in 2018, Faye stayed for the next eight years. Prior to marrying Bill, Faye worked as a secretary for several large companies in the west. Her priority then became being a loving wife to Bill and devoted homemaker.

Faye was baptized in the Christian faith. She and Bill attended the Nazarene Church, then later became members of United Methodist Church of Ava, where they worshipped for more than two decades. She was an active member there, volunteering on several occasions in years past. She enjoyed reading, cooking, many creative crafts, and spending time with family and friends. For several years, Faye was the lead of a long-established Bible class and a member of a lady’s book club. Faye also had numerous pets through the years. She had a very soft heart for all animals, taking in numerous stray dogs and cats then giving them a comfortable loving home for the rest of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, father Leo, mother Ruth, step-daughter Alison Beller, step-grandson Joshua Johnson, and step-granddaughter Lauren DeZorzi.

Faye is survived by her daughter Kristi Fehringer and husband Brent of Twin Falls, Idaho, granddaughter Alyssa and her partner Ryan and great-granddaughter Adalyn, grandson Ben, his wife Bailee; step-daughters Karla DeZorzi, Julie Conn, Sarah Johnson; step-grandchildren Kari, Amber, Christopher and Kristina Beller; step-great grandchildren: Stefaun Beller, Clayten Mullins, Julius Rodriguez, Juliana Vicencio, Emilio Ek, Shailyn LaCross, Jasmine LaCross and Issac LaCross; and loving pet companion Minnie the Cat.
