Marion "Butch" B. Scott

Mansfield, MO

After a brief illness, on April 2, 2018, Butch left his earthly home and departed to his heavenly home. Butch was born April 5, 1950. Butch was preceded in death by his father, Buel Scott, mother, Lottie (Hogan) Scott, two sisters, two nieces, one great nephew, one sister in-law and one brother in-law.

Butch leaves behind his loving wife Sheila of Mansfield, son Michael and wife Lindsy of Nixa, daughter Melissa of Mansfield, son Matthew of Mansfield, granddaughter Samantha of Nixa and grandson Hayden of Mansfield. Butch also leaves behind his loving brothers and sister; Jake (Delores) Scott, Glenda Timmerman, Wes (Arlene) Scott, Bill (Nancy) Scott, Noel (Eva) Scott and numerous nephews and nieces.

Butch was a Christian and loved to attend his home church. Butch loved to hunt, fish, look at old cars and spend time with his grandchildren.  Butch was well known in the community. Butch was a friend to everyone who knew and leaves behind several friends and will be missed dearly by all.

Funeral services for Butch will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Visitation will be Friday, April 6th from 9:00 a.m. to service time in the Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Ronnie Baker.
