Marjorie Lou (Rockett) Stamper, 64, Theodosia, MO, formerly of Liberty, MO, passed away on September 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born on July 30, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas F. and Charlotte (Miller) Rockett.

On March 7, 1987 Marjorie married and began her life with Jim Stamper and his two daughters Sheri and Chrystee in Liberty, MO. She worked as an Insurance Broker.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Charlotte Rockett; and her husband Jim Stamper. She is survived by one brother Tom Rockett and his wife Lucille of Olathe, KS; Sheri Lowers and husband Robert of Overland Park, KS, Chrystee Carpenter and husband John of Overland Park, KS; two grandchildren Ryan Lowers and Matt Carpenter; nephew Rodney Rockett; niece Stacey Jones; and one special life- long companion "Sarah".

Local Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Compassus; 807 N. Main St. Suite 1; Mountain Grove, MO 65711 or can be left at the funeral home.
