Mark Paul Degase, 44 years, 2 months, and 0 days old, passed to heaven on December 25, 2010 at his home in Squires, MO of natural causes.

Mark was born October 25, 1966 in Mtn. Home, AR to Marvin and Dyanna (Pruitt) Degase. He graduated from Ava High School.

Mark was a lifelong resident of the Squires community. Mark was the Pastor of Clark Apostolic Church in Squires, MO. He also was a Truck Driver for Keltner Enterprises out of Springfield, MO for 12 years and was a veteran and served with the U.S. Army.

Mark's hobbies were hunting, fishing, horseback riding, motorcycle riding and most of all witnessing for his Lord and Savior everywhere he went. Mark's joy was spending time with his little girl, Grace and all of his family and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dude and Audree Degase, maternal grandparents, Charles & Betty Pruitt and one aunt, Anzilee Farris.


Mark is survived by his daughter, Grace Degase, Ava, MO, his parents, Marvin "Butch" and Dyanna Degase,Squires, MO, two brothers and their spouses, Brian & Christie Degase, Ava, MO and Tim & Michelle Degase, Kansas City, MO, four nephews, Ransome, Devon, Colgan and Cooper Degase, one niece, Nichole Degase, uncles, aunts and many other relatives and friends.
Mark was a very giving person often sharing with strangers, the family request that memorial contributions be given to a friend or stranger who is in need, a pay it forward in Mark's honor


Funeral services for Mark will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Murray Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd.
