MARSHALL P. TAYLOR
Marshall P. Taylor, 90, of Noble, MO passed away on July 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1926 in Albuquerque, NM, son of Joel Patrick and Nina Mae (Payne) Taylor.
Marshall grew up in Cuba, NM and graduated from Menual Boarding School in Albuquerque in 1944. On April 12, 1946 he was united in marriage to Mary Aker in Yuma, AZ. Marshall was a rancher most of his life. He drove a truck for some time, but mostly worked on the farm. He loved being outdoors in the fresh farm air. He and Mary moved to the Ozarks in 1973 and made their home near Noble, MO. He continued his ranching ways and spent the rest of his life doing what he loved. He and Mary celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary this past April. Marshall loved his family more than anything and was very proud of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Mary of the home in Noble; six children and their spouses: Ruth York and Randall of Squires, MO, Liz Harris and Larry of West Plains, MO, Robert Taylor and Debbie of Birch Tree, MO, Tom Taylor and Denise of Marionville, MO, Ben Taylor and Janice of Noble, MO, Pat Taylor and Heidi of Noble, MO; 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; one brother-in-law; and two daughters.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Peters Cemetery near Noble, MO with Benny Aker officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
