Obituary

MARTHA ELAINE ELIOTT

Martha Elaine Eliott, 41, of Pontiac, MO passed to heaven on July 12, 2012 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. She was born on December 19, 1970 in Baytown, TX, the daughter of Jacinto Lona and Lupe Avalos.

Martha attended school at North Shore in Houston, TX. Her family moved to Corpus Christi, TX and she was united in marriage to Darrell Eliott on March 23, 1984. Martha went on to get her G.E.D. and later attended classes at the University of Arkansas. After moving to the Ozarks, she went to work for Baxter Regional Medical Center and then for K G Enterprise in Mountain Home, AR. She worked for K G for six years, and while there she painted fishing lures. One of the lures she painted was used to win the Bass Masters fishing tournament in 2008, something that Martha was very proud of, and that win helped put K G Enterprise on the map.

Martha was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a very loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She had the ability to always make those around her smile. Martha was a Christian and a member of the Frontier Baptist Church in Pontiac, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jacinto Lona; her sister Theresa; and her step father Lucian Segraves. She is survived by her husband Darrell Eliott of the home in Pontiac, MO; her mother, Lupe Segraves of Pontiac, MO; one son, Darrell Eliott Jr. and his fiancé Jamie Yarak of Gainesville, MO; one daughter, Jacklyn Nichole Eliott of Pontiac, MO; one sister Lora Penton of Houston, TX; one brother, Oscar T. Gonzales of Highlands, TX; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
