Martha L. White, 79, of Gainesville, MO passed away December 2, 2022 at West Vue Nursing & Rehab in West Plains, MO. She was born October 19, 1943 in Oakland, AR to James Everett and Velma (McGuffey) Hillhouse.

Martha married Loral White Sr. in 1960. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. The couple had four sons and five daughters.

She is survived by eight children Charles White, Charlotte Sisk, Venessia Donley, Vernon White, Mary Roberts, Marsha Johnson, Patsy White and James White; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son; one granddaughter; one grandson; two sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Sallee Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
