Mary Ann Coonce, daughter of Bernie Miller and Eva (Yeisley) Miller was born on October 2, 1940 in Romance, MO in Ozark County and went home to be with her Lord on February 11, 2007 with her loving family by her side in Springfield, MO at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 9 days.

Mary Ann was a resident of the Ava community most of her life. She was a Medical Technician for the Ava (Chastains) Nursing Home and also in Mansfield for over 30 years. On June 8, 1957 Mary Ann and William Woodrow Coonce were united in marriage in Stover, MO and to this union five children were born. Mary Ann was a member of the Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, flowers and most of all spending time with her family and praising her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, William Woodrow "Woody" of the home in Ava, six children & their spouses, Pam & Wayne Coy, Scranton, AR, Bill & Janet Coonce, Seymour, MO, Laura Hicks, Mansfield, MO, Phillip & Tina Miller, Independence, MO, Debbie & Rick Ritter, Ava, MO and Bub & Lorie Coonce, Squires, MO, 20 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, nine brothers & sisters, Mike Miller, Independence, MO, Jack Miller, Cortez, CO, Rosie Miller, Joe Miller and Nellie Turner all of Ava, Carol Gentry, Pensacola, FL, Joann Kirkpatrick, Kansas City, MO, Johnny Miller and Betty Jean (Miller) both of CA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mary Ann are Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with the Brother Mike Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery (on U Highway). Visitation is Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Family requests memorials to Douglas County Fairview Cemetery Fund in care of Barbara (Keith) Van Orden 500 N. Ash Ave Mansfield, MO 65704. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
