Mary Marie Lawrence, 75 years, passed to heaven on July 10, 2009 with her family by her side at Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson, MO.
Marie was born July 11, 1933 in Yakima, WA to Clyde Vesta and Goldie (Melton) Floyd. Marie was employed as a Postmistress with the U.S. Postal Service in Bradleyville and Bruner, MO. Marie was raised in Bradleyville community.
Marie and Junior Lawrence were united in marriage in 1948 in Arkansas and to this union three children were born. Marie was a member Bradleyville Church of the Nazarene. Marie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading her Bible and most of all spending time with all her family.
Marie was preceded by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Marie is survived by two sons, Joel & Jeanie Lawrence, Ava, MO, Jeff & Beth Lawrence, McClurg, MO, one daughter, Shirley Counts, Kirbyville, MO, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother, Leon Floyd, Forsyth, MO and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Marie will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Dann Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Eddie Hunsaker and Rev. Bill Austin. Memorials may be made to the Dann Cemetery.
