Mary Ann Leschinsky

Mary Ann Leschinsky, 67 years, 11 months, and 20 days old, passed to Heaven on March 2, 2015.

Mary was born March 13, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter and Delma (Guess) Swain.

Mary graduated from Ava High School in 1965.

On November 24, 1967 Mary Ann Swain and Kindrick Lee Leschinsky were united in marriage in Union Grove Church, Crossroads, Missouri and to this union one child was born.

Mary and Kindrick moved to St. Louis in 1967 and spent 34 years there. After retiring, they moved back to Wasola where they built their new home.

Mary worked ten years in a factory in the St. Louis area. She later spent her time as a housewife, were she enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. Mary scheduled her day around the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. She enjoyed fishing and always looked forward to White Bass Season.

She was a Christian and attended the Girdner Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Michelle Lee Leschinsky Horton, In-Laws, Ervin and Ora Lee (Herndon) Leschinsky and one brother-in-law, Robert Leschinsky.


Mary is survived by her husband, Kindrick, one granddaughter, Megan Lee Horton, Rogersville, MO, one grandson, Shane Kindrick Horton, Rogersville, MO, twin sister, Sherry and Gary Johnson, Ava, MO, two brothers, Jerry and Rosemary Swain, Ava, MO and Gary Swain and companion, Donna, Grandview, Mo, one sister-in-law, Sherry Leschinsky, Columbia, SC, two paternal aunts, Ruth Thunhorst, Morrisonville, Ill and Betty Breckenridge, Paragould, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mary will be Friday, March 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial in the Noble Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts and Pastor Maxine Lund. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
