Mary Elizabeth Mainus, 62 years, passed to heaven on September 14, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Mary was born July 1, 1952 in Mountain Grove, Mo to Freddie and Elizabeth (Long) Broyles.
On September 26, 1987 Mary Broyles and Ferman Mainus were united in marriage in Wright County, Mo and to this union one daughter was born.
Mary loved working in her garden and cooking for family and friends.
Mary was preceded by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Megan Mainus, one grandson, two brothers, Bobby and Joe and one sister, Dorothy.
Mary is survived by two sons, Cecil and John Crossland, two daughters, Billi and Becky Crossland, two stepsons, James and Jerry Mainus, one brother, Richard, two sisters, Marie and Alice, eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service remembering Mary's life will be held Friday, September 19, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at the Springcreek Cemetery, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to the Springcreek Cemetery.
