MARY ALICE RILEY
Alice Riley, age 75, of Davenport and formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, March 27th at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Davenport, Iowa. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 1st from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. Services will be held at 2:00 PM at the Blanche Church in Blanche, Missouri. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Alice was born in 1934 in Drury, Missouri to Harvey and Ella Breckner. She was united in marriage to Carl Riley in September of 1953. He passed away on October 6, 2005. Alice was a longtime employee of Long Manufacturing in west Davenport until retiring to Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Davenport and Mountain Home, Arkansas. She enjoyed her work, volunteering at church, daily walks and the outdoors. Alice especially looked forward to spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters; Marlyn (Patrick) Cain of Chanhassen, MN, Judy Brauer and Cheryl (Gary) Riley-Hayles, both of Davenport, five grandchildren, Alissa (Larry) Tucker, Kelly (Richard) Krueger and Justin Brauer, Jacob and Samuel Hayles, two great grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Tucker.
In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Ronald, 4 brothers; Owen, Neil, Audelle and Glenn Breckner, and 1 sister; Velma Reynolds.
