ANN STEELE
Ann Steele, Oakland, AR, daughter of William and Molly (Hill) Berryman was born May 4, 1936 in Wichita, KS and passed away September 30, 2008 in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 72 years.
On May 27, 1956 she married Jim Steele in Wichita, KS. To this union two children were born. Ann was a county employee for many years working as a clerk. She loved camping and being outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her husband Jim Steele of the home in Oakland, AR; daughter Jan White of Wichita, KS; son Garin Steele of Reeds Spring, MO; grandchildren Jessica Wood, Ryan Moore, Danielle Marty, Blake Steele, Landon Steele, Kaylee Simon; and six great grandchildren; one brother Bill Berryman of Great Bend, KS, and one sister Betty Leyerly of Grand Junction, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 3, 2008, 2:00PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Gale Wooten officiating. Interment will be in the Pontiac Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday starting at 1:00PM to service time. Services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
