Mrs. Mavis Ham

Squires, Missouri

Mavis Leta Ham, 85 years, 10 months, 9 days old, passed away on March 25, 2019 at Heart of the Ozarks with her family by her side.

Mavis was born May 16, 1933 in Guthrie, OK to Bennie and Eva (Plumb) Wells.

On June 23, 1951, Mavis and Jack Wayne Ham were united in marriage at Bloomington, CA and to this union they were blessed with five children. They lived several years in CA then on to Washington State. Most the time they retained a home in Squires, MO.

Mavis was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to church at Murray. She also enjoyed gardening, her flower beds, and working puzzles. Her joy was taking care of her husband, Jack and family.

Mavis was preceded in death by parents, and she was the last of all her siblings.

Mavis is survived by her husband, Jack, five children, many grand, great, and great great grandchildren.

Cremation services for Mavis are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
