Maxine (Mickey) Coons Cissna, of Isabella, Missouri, passed away September 18, 2012, at Gainesville Nursing Home at the age of 87. She was born in Iowa on October 18, 1924 to Harold And Bertha Ann (Thomas) McCurdy.

Mickey enjoyed painting, crocheting, needlepoint, and family gatherings. She was a former gift shop owner. She loved her family and friends.

Mickey is survived by her children with Jack, one daughter, Carolyn Rice of Cotter, AR, two sons, Bob Coons, wife Sandy, Jack Coons, wife Sherry, of Isabella, MO,and one son, Greg, wife Jenny, son of Joe Cissna. She has 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and one special sister-in- law, Yvonne Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Helen and Gail, husbands Jack T Coons and Joe Cissna and surrogate parents Bill and Elsie Beasley.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice, or Theodosia United Methodist Church.
