Maxine Terry, 68, of Gainesville, MO was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Longrun, MO, the daughter of Clifford and Flossie (Taber) Robirds. Maxine lived life to the fullest in spite of battling stage 4 lung cancer. She loved to cook for her family and friends and especially for her co-workers at Town & Country Supermarket.
Maxine is survived by two daughters, Carmen Skiver and husband Brad of Mountain Home, AR and Elizabeth Green and husband Stephen of Arlington, TX; two sons, Zane Terry and wife Kathleen of Mountain Home, AR and Max Terry of North Port, AL; one grandson, Grady Skiver of Mountain Home, AR; and many nieces and nephews; also one very special niece, Jane Magness and husband Kenny of Theodosia, MO; one brother Estel Robirds and wife Sue of Theodosia, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Terry; both parents Clifford and Flossie Robirds; two sisters Reva Miller and Myrtle Robirds; seven brothers Kirby Robirds, Curtis Robirds, RT Robirds, Dutch Robirds, Dick Stehle, Bill Stehle, and EJ Stehle.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, MO. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutie Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
