MCLAIN DUDLEY HAYS
Mclain Hays, 76, Pontiac, MO, went home to his Lord on October 23, 2009 at his residence. He was born on November 1, 1932 in Mobile, AL the son of Thomas and Jewel Hays.
He was a veteran having proudly served his country in the Army during Korea.
On May 6, 1961 he was united in marriage to Anna Genine Meeks in Tucson, AZ. Anna passed away in 1997. Mclain, like his father, was a welder. He worked for the union Local 188 on various job sites and in many different states. When he retired, he had put in 45 years as a welder. Mclain loved country music. He was a well loved man who will by missed by all.
He is survived by his daughter Angelyn Hays of Pontiac, MO; his son Alan Hays of Aldie, VA; and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna; his parents Thomas and Jewel; and one brother Kenneth Sistrunck.
No local services are planned. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
