MEARL G. LANSDOWN
Mearl G. Lansdown passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his residence in Pontiac at the age of 68 years. Mearl was born on October 12, 1938 in Isabella, Missouri to Jesse Lansdown and Myrtle (Vernie) Lansdown. Mearl worked for many people in and around Ozark County doing construction as a carpenter and painter.
Mearl is survived by his mother Myrtle Lansdown of the home in Pontiac, brother Doyle Lansdown of Pontiac, sisters June Garrison of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Judy Early of Columbia, Missouri.
Preceded in death by his father Jesse Lansdown, brothers Farrel and Leroy, and sister Caroline.
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Isabella Cemetery with Jim Kyle officiating. Pallbearers will be William Landsdown, Andrew Walrath, Coy Landsdown, Elza Garrison, George Landsdown, and Jimmy Smith.
