Megan Elizabeth Mainus, 19 years, passed to heaven on October 11, 2013 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO and her baby boy, Lane passed away on the same day in Ava, MO.
Megan was born October 10, 1994 in Houston, MO to Jerry Ferman and Mary (Broyles) Mainus.
She was a Christian and had attended Brushyknob Baptist Church. She enjoyed riding horses and four wheelers. She loved teasing and making her friends and family laugh. She was looking forward to being a mother.
Megan was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Ferman Mainus.
Megan is survived by her mother, Mary Mainus, Ava, MO, two sisters; Becky Crossland, and Billi Crossland, four brothers; James Mainus, Jerry Mainus, Cecil Crossland and John Crossland and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Megan and Lane will be Wed., Oct. 16, 2013, 3:30 p.m. in the Springcreek Cemetery, south of Ava. Visitation will be WED., from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Officiating will be Pastor Danny Douglas. Memorials may be made to the family as a Love offering at the funeral home.
