Michael Degase

Michael Degase, 73 years and 4 months old, passed away on, April 10, 2023 at Heart of the Ozarks.

Michael was born January 10, 1950 in Douglas County, Missouri to Orville and Geraldine (Spurlock) Degase.

He was a Christian and attending church when he was able.

He worked at the DOCO Recycling Center for many years.

Michael enjoyed mowing yards, hunting and spending time outdoors.  He loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one great nephew, Kenny Stout.

Michael is survived by his sister and her husband, Sheila and Otis McFarlin; one nephew, Tracy McFarlin; one niece, Marianne Stout; one great niece, Kym Clements; two great nephews, Chandler Stout and Caleb McFarlin; seven great-great nieces, Kaidon Stout, Zoey Stout, Elena Stout, Kynley Pettinger, Evie Pettinger, Allie Clements and Penelope Clements; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services for Michael will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Murray Cemetery in Ava, Missouri with burial to follow. Officiating will be Vickie Prock.  Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
