IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mildred "Millie"
Patterson
August 25, 1949 – June 14, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Mildred (Millie) Lois Patterson announces her passing at the age of 70 years while at Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, AR on June 14, 2020. She was born August 25, 1949 in Lees Summit, MO.
Millie and her dearly beloved husband Joe Patterson were married on August 22, 1986. Between the two of them they have six children. Shortly after getting married they bought their farm on EIk Head Road in Bland Missouri. There they labored together to build a beautiful farmstead until 2004 when the Lord moved them to Gainesville Missouri.
Millie, cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend had an immense love for God, family, extended and church family, as well as her community. She was the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." She enjoyed fishing, and rumor has it she could out fish Joe. She loved to have her house full of family and friends. She could spend hours with them enjoying one of her favorite card games Rook. Millie had a tender heart for the youth, and went to great lengths to teach and share with them about Jesus. She lived her life according to the Word of God and as 1 John 4: 7 says "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."
Millie leaves behind and will forever be remembered by her husband Joseph Patterson, and their children Barbara Strout, Carrie Durbin, Tammy Spletcher, David Patterson, Ben Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson-George and Millie's beloved sibling Linda Poling. Her grandchildren Brandy Morris, Matthew Durbin, William Hodge, Jessica Peach, Kenneth Williams, Nicholas Strout, Andrew Durbin, Shane Manues, Tyler Manues, Kaitee Durbin, Andrew and Carmen Patterson, Tyler Burk, Quinten and Harrison George, Jacob Albert, Jarred Albert, Sara Smith and Amanda Davis, Becky Farha, Betsy Pierpoint and Robyn Farha. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lois Green, siblings Jackie Bill Green, Lela Ardelia Garringus, William Benjamin Green, Donna Green and Ronnie Green and her daughter-n-law Patricia Patterson.
