Mildred "Mickey" E. Whittenhall, age 79, of Lakemoor, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019, at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Dixon, IL on November 29, 1939. In Chicago on August 27, 1960, she married her sweetheart, Richard Whittenhall.

Mickey enjoyed working at the big chain retail stores the majority of her life. Because of  her love of flowers, she cared and tended to the garden centers every summer in those chain stores. Mickey was a pleasant and happy go lucky gal who met many dear friends through her career.

Mickey enjoyed life, natures beauty, and most of all her family, especially her grandchildren. They meant the world to her, she would give anything to spend a little time with them. She will forever remain in their hearts through memories.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Richard; loving son, Dan Whittenhall; five caring grandchildren, Gage, Cruz, Dante, Danica, and Olivia.

She will be reunited in heaven with her two daughters, Amanda and Joy.

Friends and neighbors may gather from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. A funeral blessing will be held at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. A second memorial service will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo. on the evening of Tuesday, June 25 from 6-8 P.M.
