Milton Clyde Eacret, 80, of Gainesville, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Ozark Medical Center. Born in Compton, California to Clyde and Lorena Eacret. He lived most of his life in California until he joined the military. On April 29, 1955 he married the love of his life Anita Lee Brown. He retired to the Ozarks, where he became a mechanic after serving 20 years in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anita Lee Eacret; and their six children. Elaine Butler of Theodosia,MO; Steve Eacret and wife Linda of Bryant, AR; Terry Eacret and wife Donna of Rogersville, MO; Cheryl Eacret of Gainesville, MO; Melanie Cook and husband Bret of Theodosia, MO; and Scott Eacret and wife Lisa of Maryland Heights, MO. His nineteen Grandchildren, Twenty-five Great Grandchildren, and five Great, Great Grandchildren. His brother James Eacret and sister Helen Wilson; sister-in-law Linda Brown of Springfield, MO and brother –in-law Donald Brown of Colorado. As well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
He is proceeded in death by his father Clyde; his mother Lorena; and step-father Bedford Cansler; sister Betty Wilson; sister-in-law Connie Eacret; brother-in-law Charles Brown; mother-in-law Inez Brown; and father-in-law Floyd Brown .
Milton will always be remembered as a loving husband, Dad, and Grandpa. His pride and joy was his family.
He was a member of the Smith Chapel Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Smith Chapel Cemetery or Fair Haven Children's Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Smith Chapel Church of Christ with Vic Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
