Minnie Frances Hicks, 79 years, passed away on September 29, 2009 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, MO.
Minnie was born October 13, 1929 in Toledo, MO to William and Nellie (Buttram) Krider.
On July 17, 1946 Minnie and Edgar Hicks were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union four children were born. Minnie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seymour Church of Christ. Minnie was devoted to her family and church. She enjoyed quilting and cooking. She loved being with her family.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Maggy Hicks, a daughter-in-law, Rita Hicks, two sisters, Orene Trent and Juanita Trent.
Minnie is survived by her husband, Edgar Hicks, Ava, MO, four children, Larry Hicks, Macomb (Brushyknob), MO, Janice Sanders, Marshfield, MO, Danny and Roy Hicks both of Ava, MO, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother, Verlin Krider, Boise, Idaho and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Minnie will be Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Denney Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Harlan Howerton. Memorials may be made to the Denney Cemetery.
