Myrle Frank "Dugan" Morton Jr., 60, of Pontiac, MO, passed away on July 22, 2010 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on January 14, 1950 in the state of Colorado.

Mr. Morton was a veteran. On July 2, 1993 he was united in marriage to Debra Rhea Stewart in Gainesville, MO. He worked as a building contractor in Ozark County for many years. Dugan was an easy going and fun loving person who will be missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, of the home in Pontiac, MO; his children Christopher Brian Morton of Kingman, KS and Terry Michelle Morton of Plainview, TX; stepchildren Anna Schankowski of Belleville, MI, Connelly Dunnermann of Wentzville, MO, and Jennifer Nichols of Gassville, AR; eight grandchildren; two sisters Cheryl and Lynn; and one brother Charles.

No local services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
