MYRTLE JUNE JONES
Myrtle June Jones, 78, Gainesville, MO passed away on April 1, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1931 in Gainesville, MO the daughter of Daniel Webster and Ella (Frelich) Strong.
On May 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Bill Jones in Kansas City, MO. Myrtle worked many years for the phone company in Kansas City. She was a loving and caring woman who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Bill Jones of the home in Gainesville, MO; one brother Landon Strong and one sister Anna Anderson, both of Gainesville, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Ella Strong; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 5, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Chaplin Ron Williamson officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00pm to service time. Burial will be in the Faye Cemetery south of Gainesville.
