NADINE CLEAVER
Nadine Cleaver, Protem, MO, daughter of Alfred and Hattie (Harless) Cutbirth, was born on January 13, 1919 in Ocie, MO and passed away on December 16, 2008 in Springfield, MO at the age of 89 years.
On December 20, 1938 she married Irba Cleaver in Gainesville, MO. To this union two children were born, Charlotte and Lynn. Nadine was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved to be outside working and every summer could be found taking care of her beautiful garden. She spent most of her life as a housewife and was a faithful member of Salem General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two children Charlotte Henry of Nixa, MO and Lynn Cleaver of Protem, MO; two grandsons Christopher and Nicholas; two great granddaughters Claire and Ava; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Irba, and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Salem General Baptist Church in Ocie, MO with Don Yarger officiating. Interment will follow in the Rhodes Cemetery.
