NANCY CAROLYN MITCHELL MARUS

Nancy Carolyn Mitchell Marus passed away peacefully at her home in Gainesville, MO on August 28, 2017. She was born October 21, 1952 in Star City, AR to the late Marion Kenneth Mitchell and Nancy Maxine Mitchell.

She was raised and educated in Little Rock, AR and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1971. On January 8, 1973 she married Robert Lynn Marus.

Before her retirement in 2015 she was employed at ARChild Development Center in Little Rock as a bookkeeper for 15 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there and cherished the many lifelong friends that she made.

She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, "flea-tiquing". She was an avid bowler and recently she had the opportunity of bowling in Nationals in Las Vegas.

She leaves behind "four beautiful and educated" daughters, Kasey Douglas and husband Richard of Bryant, AR, Karey Broach and husband Jason of Vilonia, AR, Allison Fowler and husband Steven of Vilonia, AR, Carly Covert and husband Jerrick of Benton, AR; and "eight awesome grandchildren" whom she lovingly referred to as "Eight is Enough" Briana, Cameron, Emma, Kellan, Karigan, Kade, Gabe and Zachary.

Memorial of her life will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Saline County, 5310 Word Street, Bauxite, AR with Pastor Richard Douglas and Brother Lou Holloway officiating. Floral arrangements will be received Friday, September 1 ^st from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Saline County. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
