Obituary

NEIL PLEASANT GARDNER

Neil Pleasant Gardner passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the VA Puget Sound Health Care in Seattle, Washington. He was 73 years, 6 months, and 13 days old. Neil was born on April 17, 1934 in Souder, Missouri to R.O. Gardner and Verna (Prock) Gardner. In 1957 Neil and Wanda Thompson were married in Zillah, Washington, and to this union were born three daughters and one son. On November 29, 1986 Neil and Pam Welch were married in Seattle, Washington. Neil worked as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife Pam Gardner of the home in Seattle, Washington,; daughters Tammy Danforth, Brenda Gardner, and Sandra Carizall and son Tommy Gardner all of the State of Washington; one step daughter Bonnie Chance of Washington; ten grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters Elma Collins of Gainesville, Missouri, Evalyn Franks of Wichita, Kansas, and Flo Williamson and husband Ray of Nottinghill, Missouri; one sister-in-law Betty Gardner of Souder, Missouri, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his parents R.O. and Verna Gardner, two brothers Eugene and Claude Gardner, brother-in-law W.D. Collins, and two uncles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007, 10:00 AM, at the Souder Church Of Christ with E.J. Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Souder Cemetery.
