NELLIE LOUISE CHISAM
Nellie Louise Chisam, 83, of Gainesville, passed away at the Gainesville Health Care Center on August 9, 2011. Nellie was born on March 10, 1928 in Dugginsville, MO to Eliga and Odessa(Osborn) Friend.
A homemaker,who loved to garden and spoil her grandchildren, she married Eddie Chisam on December 13, 1949 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Nellie was a Christian and member of the Barren Fork Church of Christ.
She is survived by; a son, Danny Richison, Gainesville;a step-daughter, Juanita Smith, Zanoni; five grandchildren, Patti Clark, Smyrna, TN; Angela Hall, Mountain Home, AR; Shawn Richison, Yellville,AR; Erin Richison, Gainesville; and Kristian Richison, West Plains,MO; twelve great-grandchildren;one great-great grandson; one sister, Barbara Hewitt, Gainesville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Billy, Jack, Teslie and Junior; and three sisters, Ella, Vetta and Velma.
Visition will be on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home between 5p.m. and 7p.m. in Gainesville. The funeral services will be on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 1p.m. at the Barren Fork Church of Christ with E.J. Hampton officiating and burial at Sims Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
