Nellie Huff White

Nellie Lee Huff White, 89 years, 9 months, 27 days old, passed away on September 18, 2017 at her home with children and dedicated loving caregiver, Crystal Ford by her side.

Nellie was born November 22, 1927 in Ava, MO to Charley Frank and Mabel (Haden) Huff.

Nellie was a retired Owner and Operator of a Real Estate Property Management Co. and also owner of Ozark Sandblasting Co. with her son, Charles.

Nellie and Donald Huff were united in marriage and to this union two children were born, Donna and Charles. Later on Feb. 29, 1972 Nellie and Derl "Pete" White were united in marriage.

Nellie was a Christian. She enjoyed caretaking animals, traveling, antiquing, and she loved to work.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Huff, and one brother, Calvin Huff.

Nellie is survived by husband, Derl, her two children, Donna Payne and husband, David, Billings, MO, and Charles D. Huff, Springfield, MO, three step children and their spouses and families, Debbie (White), Richard White, and Terry White, several step grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Nellie will be Wed. Sept. 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ava Cemetery, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
