Nelma Marie Lister

Nelma Lister,   87 years,   5 months, 12 days old, passed away on September 11, 2018 at Home with her family by her side.

Nelma was born March 29, 1931 in Shannon County, Missouri to Clint and Nora (Miller) Woolsey.

Nelma and John Lister were united in marriage  October 26, 1960  in Independence, Mo.

She loved her farm, dog and family.

Nelma was preceded in death by her husband John Lister and four children, Chris Lister, Stanley Eugene Lister, Kathleen Likens and Janeice Twitty and two brothers, Dewaine Woolsey and Christopher Woolsey.

Nelma is survived by two sons, John Lister, Jr. and Michael Lister, seven grandchildren, Tabitha Lister, Kevin Lister, John Lister, III, Melissa Lister, Jessica Laberge, J.C. Likens and  Miranda Clubb, many great-grandchildren, five siblings, Gerldean Cartor, Lavon Cartor, Donald D. Woolsey, Larry E. and Terri E. Woolsey and Linda Bass and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Nelma will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Pastor Oren Alcorn officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to service time.  Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to The Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
