Norman was born January 13, 1928 in Roy, MO in Douglas County to Homer William and Amy Ellen (Sanders) Rosseau.
Norman was a retired self employed truck driver and also a horse whisperer/farrier.
On September 18, 1987 Norman and Gola Maxine Davis
were united in marriage in Miami, OK.
Norman was a Christian. He enjoyed roping and horseshoeing. He also loved to train horses and their riders here in Ava and equipped them to travel all over.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Elva Mathews, Velma Melton Cross, and Goldie Sutherland.
Norman is survived by his wife, Maxine Rosseau, Ava, MO, his children, Jim Rosseau and wife, Teresa, Yakima, WA and Janet Batey and husband, Gary, Haggerstown, Maryland, four step children, Anna Faye Guthery, Monett, MO, Carol Jane McMullin and husband, Mike, Miller, MO, Denzil Earl Guthery and wife, Pam, Springfield, MO, and David Lee Guthery and wife, Lisa, Seymour, MO, and
16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren,
two brothers and their spouses, Delmar & Margaret Rosseau, Ava, MO and Marvin & Coralee Rosseau, Yakima,Washington, two sisters, Dorothy Burton and Delpha Roller and husband, Ray, all of Ava, MO, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Norman will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Ava Cemetery, Ava, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Max Stephens. Memorials may be made to donor's choice of charity.
