OLLINE YOCHAM
Olline Yocham, 95, of Gainesville, MO was born to A. Oda and Nellie (Denney) Silva on June 6, 1921 in Souder, MO. She died on August 28, 2016 in Mountain Home, AR.
Olline is survived by her nephew Bob (Meredith) Silva; great niece Colleen (Teri) Lacher; and great nephews Ed Silva and Andy (Luann) Silva; seven great-great nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great nieces.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Nuell Yocham; her parents; her brothers Owen, Ola, Arthur and Fred Silva, Charlie Parker and Doy Parker; her sisters Clairene Silva; Alta Parker, Roxa Snelson, Fern Phillips, Wilma Buckley; and her beloved step-mother Anna Murphy Parker Silva; and in-laws Bessie and Otis Yocham; also preceding her in death, Dave Goodnight who was the son she never had.
Olline was an accomplished horse woman who cherished her many memories of life on the farm with Nuell. After Nuell's death she moved to town and began a second career with Clinkingbeard Funeral Home. Olline loved her family and cherished the time she could spend with each of them. She also left behind many wonderful friends including two special care giving and mindful women, Stephanie Bearden and Tracy Evans. Gene Britt and the Bearden men: Lee, Jacob and Quenten are also on the special friends list, as well as Darren and Denise Crisp.
Olline was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and was a woman of strong faith. The family would like to thank the staff, physicians and administrators at Gainesville Healthcare Center for the excellent care Olline received during her time there.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Halbert Smith officiating. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, MO. Donations in Olline's honor may be made to Lutie Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
