Opal Norene Pellham

Opal Norene Pellham, 88 years, 7 months, and 24 days old, passed to heaven on September 1, 2014 at Cox Medical Center South.
Norene was born January 8, 1926 in Hammond, MO to Benjamin and Leona (Denton) Pellham.
Norene was a resident of the Thornfield community most of her life. She had been living in the Ava Place that became her home.
Norene was a farmer and worked alongside her family.
She was a Christian and a member of the IGO General Baptist Church in Thornfield and also attended the Springcreek Baptist Church.
Norene enjoyed crocheting lace table clothes and dollies. She loved genealogy, attending church and working outdoors.
Norene was preceded by her parents, two brothers, Arnold Lloyd Pellham and Wilbert Donald Pellham and a niece, Patsy McCoy.
Norene is survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Norene will be Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Doyle Turner and Rev. Brad Pellham.
Memorials may be made to the Longrun Cemetery or the Griffith Cemetery.
