Orien Larson Prince, 88, of Theodosia, MO passed away on June 1, 2011 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. He was born November 25, 1922 in Washington, UT to Hyrum and Minnie Viola (Larson) Prince.
Orien was a veteran having served his country in the United Sates Navy during World War II. He spent most of his time on an island in the South Pacific servicing American ships damaged in battle. On May 10, 1946 he was united in marriage to Lucille Spendlove in Pioche, NV. The couple just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They moved to the Ozarks thirty years ago, where Orien loved his farming. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hyrum and Minnie (Larson) Prince; one brother; and four sisters. Orien is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lucille Prince of the home in Theodosia, MO; one son Hyrum Prince of Springfield, MO; one daughter Lois Clayton of Gainesville, MO; four grandchildren; one sister Dorothy Carpenter of Salt Lake City, UT; and many nieces and nephews.
