Otis "Odie" Richard Bell, Jr.

Ava, Missouri

Otis Richard Bell, Jr., 69 years, 10 months, and 18 days old, passed away on, January 30, 2022 at his home in Ava, Missouri.

Otis was born March 12, 1952 in New Prague, Minnesota to Otis Thomas Bell, Sr. and Geraldine (Ruehling) Bell.

He worked at Ferrell Gas in Minnesota for thirty five years.  After leaving Ferrell Gas, Otis worked several other jobs.

Otis liked old cars and going to car shows.  He enjoyed live music and being around people.  He loved watching the wildlife.  He always watched the deer, turkeys, and cardinals out the back window.

Otis had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could.

Otis was preceded in death by his brother Paul and niece Lauren Schultz, parents, and grandparents Richard and Minnie Ruehling.

Otis is survived by his companion Mary Wilmes; his children, Rick (Heidi) Bell, Rhonda ( Dustin) Campion; grandchildren Aidan, Sophia, and Ava Bell, Austin and Nora Campion; three sisters, Lois (Glyde Burdick) Bell, Lynn ( Larry)  Schultz, and Lori (Dale) Otto; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Gentry Church.

A Memorial service will held at Gentry Church Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
